Zero-G Smooth Operator 6061-Aluminum

Immediately put this on my wishlist after getting the orginal zero and loving it. The only downside on the original is that when your hands are sweaty it’s hard to use it, your hands just slide against the smooth aluminum, the v2 solves this issue and so does the smooth operator zero g so I immediately bought this when it dropped again and it’s exactly what I wanted, even smoother action than the original somehow, the pocket clip adds utility and extra fidget factor and it feels better in the hand, you can get a full grip on it unlike the original. Overall 10/10

I loved the original Zero knife and the Zero-G is just as good maybe even a little better. I love the easy operation and it fits better in the hand. The pocket clip is a great addition. I have purchased OTF utility knives and this is my favorite. Highly recommend.

Best of the best. I use a utility blade quite a bit in my commercial print shop. The rounded curves on this protect my substrates like no other utility blade I've ever used before. It's crazy clickable which helps a person think when they're thinking and steam is rolling out of the ears. I couldn't figure out something with the little spring when I was messing with the clip and ended up sending it in for a checkup. Best, most communicative customer service experience of my life. First purchase ever from this company and they have a customer for life.

I have an original Zero and purchased the new Zero G. I’ll just copy and paste what I texted my wife after it arrived:

I can see he’s really refined the design. A lot of little details show he’s worked hard to improve it.

More blade exposed (YES!) and the front is angled which enables more natural cuts that aren’t just at a 90 degree angle when cutting “to the hilt”.

Double the magnets, gives the action a lot more “pop”, feels much better and I didn’t have complaints before.

The holder mechanism is fully enclosed and flush with the base, so it’s less likely to be accidentally manipulated and it looks and feels cleaner. But it didn’t add any thickness. Chefs kiss.

Flush Pocket clip design is a patent in and of itself. No need to futz with a lanyard unless you want to.

And the extra length does make it easier to use.

$125 vs $70 worth it? You can go and buy a fully usable box cutter for $8 at Home Depot, so if you’re already spending $70 on a box cutter, clearly you are a box cutter enthusiast and therefore the extra $55 is immaterial 😂

I was a little disappointed in the way you open the blade. not the way Ipictured it and for the money somewhat overpriced. But I appreciate the discount and I'm sure I'll get used to opening it
